In EA Sports FC 24, there are special styles called PlayStyles that show how different players play in the game. One of these is the "Pinged Pass". This is a very accurate and defence splitting pass that some players can do to create goal scoring chances. When Kevin De Bruyne sends Erling Haaland through for a 1v1, that's what the Pinged Pass looks like! The "Pinged Pass" playstyle works great from anywhere on the pitch, allowing chance creation from any area. You can view the full list of PlayStyles here.
Midfielders and wingers are best suited for the Pinged Pass PlayStyle. They will be the ones playing passes into your striker to create the best scoring chance possible. Those with higher passing stats will be able to pull off the pinged pass with more precision.
Players who perform defence splitting passess for teammates to run on to. There is no set criteria based on in-game FC 24 stats but is actually based on the performance and ability of footballers in real life.
